Tremco CPG Europe acquires VEDA France
Tremco Construction Product Group (CPG) Europe is pleased to announce the acquisition of VEDA France, a mechanical movement joint and fire barrier manufacturer.
This acquisition provides our family of brands with the technical expertise to design, specify and manufacturer expansion covers and fire stopping solutions for horizontal and vertical linear joints to service the needs of the construction market. VEDA, a brand which has been operating for 30 years, is uniquely positioned to service both movement joints and fire barrier solutions and will become part of the Tremco CPG portfolio of brands, alongside Nullifire, Flowcrete, Vandex, Tremco, Dryvit and Nudura.
As a result of this acquisition, Tremco CPG Europe will be able to service customers with a complete range of mechanical movement joints, as well as an extensive range of tested and validated fire stopping systems, including ropes, blankets, and filler boards.
The founder and former owner of VEDA, Georges Gauthier, will continue to lead the company and VEDA’s twenty-five employees, who will be taken on by Tremco CPG Europe.
