Tremco CPG UK Ltd Celebrates National Customer Service Week

Tremco CPG UK Ltd is delighted to be celebrating National Customer Service week this year, in recognition of the hard work and effort by their loyal and dedicated customer service team. This annual week of celebration will run from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th October 2023 and is widely considered an opportunity for businesses from all industries to reflect on the service they provide to their customers, as well as acknowledge the achievements of their customer service personnel.

During the course of the week, employees of the Tremco CPG UK family of brands, which include illbruck, Flowcrete, Nullifire, Tremco, Nudura, Dryvit, and Vandex, will be featured across their websites and social media channels to highlight the faces of what is often regarded as a behind-the-scenes operation.

Backed by a team of 27 advisors situated across Tremco CPG’s various UK locations, the customer service division is responsible for a wide range of activities that ultimately strive to ensure the needs of their loyal and highly valued customers are met.

Tremco CPG UK manufactures and supplies the construction industry with solutions catering to all six sides of the building envelope. These include performance resin flooring, waterproofing and roofing solutions, as well as glazing and façades insulation. Whilst the company’s market-leading technology has been built up through multiple decades in specialised fields, the dedication and tenacity of the customer service division cannot go unnoticed.

Samantha White, Commercial Manager at Tremco CPG UK, said: “It is a common misconception across all industries that customer services spend their time solely dealing with customer enquiries. Here at Tremco CPG UK in particular, our team bears many responsibilities and often wears many hats to ensure our customers are satisfied.

“From order processing and resolving customer complaints, to issuing and delivering product samples, along with the recent addition of product replenishment master data and third-party vendor procurement - all to support our UK Mainland and International Customers, the customer service unit at Tremco CPG UK is a multi-faceted operation and is very much the beating heart of the organisation.

“I am immensely proud of the team’s achievements and the new heights in which they continue to reach. These include reducing the turnaround of resolving a customer query from an average of two weeks to less than three days, as well as processing an astonishing 39 thousand orders during the last 12 months. It is because of accomplishments such as these that the company is pausing to reflect on the fantastic contribution our customer service team brings to Tremco CPG UK.

“What makes our customer service team unique is that we have a high staff retention rate, with some members having being with the business for almost two decades. At Tremco CPG UK, we greatly value the loyalty our personnel have shown to us, and we are very much looking forward to celebrating National Customer Service Week with them, having planned a series of exciting activities to show how much we appreciate them.”

Also excited to be taking part in Tremco CPG UK’s National Customer Service Week celebration, is Madeline Biggin, who is one of the company’s Customer Service Supervisors and has been part of the business for nearly 18 years. Madeline said: “I have seen a lot of change within the organisation after almost two decades, however, what remains constant is my desire to help other people, whether that be our customers, the wider Customer Service Team, the Area Sales Managers, and various other departments.

“I always strive to achieve more in my role, from beginning my career as a Customer Service Advisor for Firetherm before being promoted to Export Coordinator. Through various inter-company changes, I have worked my way up to Customer Services Supervisor for the Tremco CPG UK Crayford branch.”
